Color Personality

What color best describes your personality? Are you bold? Fun loving? Adventurous? If you're nodding your head then you are going to love today's bright color combination courtesy of Kristina Werner: Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, and Whisper White.

My textured Tangerine Tango card base is 7" x 4.25" with a scalloped edge. I layered Chocolate Chip card stock and Patterns Designer Series Paper with So Saffron to create a background. Then, I inked up some funky flowers from the Botanical Blooms set, a Sale-A-Bration exclusive. Hurry! There are only 2 days left of Sale-A-Bration - get your freebies while you still can!

I have a secret: I don't have a Tangerine Tango ink pad. How did I get those ohh so orange blooms? With my Only Orange marker. I colored directly onto the stamp -- huffed to ensure maximum moisture -- and voila! TIP: Pumpkin Pie is a close match as well. Botanical Blooms is a 2-Step set, so my trusty Stamp-A-Ma-Jig helped me get my Chocolate Chip outline perfectly aligned. I used my 1" circle punch for the image and my 1.25" circle punch to create a So Saffron matte. Finally, my Scalloped Circle Punch finished things up.

I ran Double Stitched Chocolate Chip Ribbon along the bottom of my card and topped it with a layer of So Saffron grosgrain. The sentiment, 'to thine own self be kind', is framed by Hodgepodge Hardware. I felt it needed more sass so I added a few extra brads and some swirly clips for good measure. TIP: A Crop-o-Dile will easily punch through multiple layers. (Without giving you a hand cramp - I promise!)
