Trendy Trees

Are you a trendy girl... always looking for that special, unique thing with just the right amount of pizazz? Well, Trendy Trees are for you! These chic little trees make quite a statement on today's card.
I've combined two challenges: Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge (SC220) with this week's Color Throwdown #34: Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, and Blush Blossom. I think sketches are a great way to get started, but don't feel like you have to stick to ALL the rules. (There are no challenge police!) I added a panel so my card measurements are:

Card Base: 6.75" X 5"
Background Strips: 1.3" wide
Main Panel: 4.5" x 3"
Tree Panel: 3.75" x 2.25"

I like to layer and had the extra time for it, but you could easily omit my extra matting to speed things up a bit.

My Sassy Somethings today are satin Kiwi Kiss Ribbon and some adorable buttons from Button Bouquet. TIP: I love that messy glue is a thing of the past! Mini Glue Dots are a fabulous and EASY way to adhere embellishments... no muss, no fuss!

The Trendy Tree set featured today is a steal -- only $17.95! Grab one today and don't forget that Sale-A-Bration is ending soon! Click here to place your on-line order with me and earn FREEBIES for every $50 you spend!
